We are a homeschooling Christian family who love simple living and spending time exploring all that the Lord has created.

We have eight wonderful blessings: Benjamin age 15, Timothy age 13, Sarah age 10, James age 8, Samuel age 7, Joshua age 5, Hannah age 3 and Rebekah age 18 mo.

We live on a 2.5 acre farm in southern Iowa. We have many animals that we take care of here on our farm that bring us much enjoyment and sometimes frustrations. With the goats, chickens, 3 ducks, 6 pigs, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 3 frogs, 1 salamander and three Crested Geckos, you could say that we have the makings of a petting zoo. We have lived here since November of 2000 and love it. The peace we find in the country compares to nothing else on this great earth.

We love the Lord Jesus Christ with all our hearts and strive to serve Him in all that we do.

We started out with goats in 2001, when we purchased a Nubian/Saanen cross doe and her two doelings. We have mostly registered Nubian stock but have currently ventured into the Sable Saanen breed. Our goal is to have quality does and breed them for home milking, making soaps and other products, provide meat for us and extra income by selling our culled stock.
