This is where we house Pete and his girls Cammy and April. The cage is 26" wide, 36" high and 9" deep. The front and back are screened and the other sides are pexiglass. The top is glass so that it does not melt when we need to heat the cage.
Polka-dot Pete
This is Polka-dot Pete. He is a dalmation Crested Gecko and weighs about 22 grams. We purchased him at PetCo and we were surprised to find him. After looking all over the internet for a dalmation male Crested we thought we would try PetCo. We found him hiding behind a leaf in a cage with a bunch of little babies. After flipping him over and seeing his obvious bulge we decided to buy him on the spot. We were even more pleased that he was on sale for only $40.00.
On April 26, 2008 we purchased two gorgeous female geckos from a breeder in Mt. Pleasant, Ia. Larry and his wife were great to work with and their love for their geckos is evident. They both love to be handled and they really seem to like Pete (I am sure he is just as excited to see them). We have named them Cammy and April. They both weigh about 20 grams.
